ndrea Le is a rising LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted with her win at 2022 Portland Classic. Lee won on all levels. She won 9 matches during her collegiate days at Standford University. James taught her how to golf from the time she was five years old. When she was 8, she started competing in events. She won 50 titles as a junior in only four years. She was a finalist at in 2014 at the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. aged 15 with her dad alongside her as caddie. Lee was unable to make the LPGA Tour cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration by just one shot. Lee turned professional in 2019after having left Stanford University. Her amateur career includes an entire 17-week stint as she was the World Amateur Golf Ranking leader. Lee received the 2019 Mark H. McCormack Medal for finishing the year with the highest ranking amateur. While playing as an amateur, Lee achieved four holes in one round and one albatross. Lee finished among Top 10 once in her debut year on the LPGA Tour. She placed 7th in the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee took home her first LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee dedicated the win to her late grandfather Min who died in 2012. He always called me a winner and believed that I could win. The victory was in memory of her late grandfather Min whom she claims always called me an athlete and believed in me. She has previously played soccer, taekwondo or figure skating. Outside of golf, her interests have included shopping at the movies, bowling, and snowboarding.
